Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making Hispir Care's website welcoming and usable for everyone.
Last reviewed: June 9, 2026
Hispir Care (operated by Hispir Consulting Ltd.) is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities and the families we serve. Many of the people who visit this site are caring for children with disabilities, so an easy, accessible experience matters to us. This statement explains the standard we aim for, the steps we have taken, the limitations we are still working on, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.
1. Our commitment
We treat accessibility as part of building the site well, not an add-on. We work to make the experience clear and usable for everyone who visits, build with accessibility in mind as we add and update content, and fix problems when we find them. Everyone deserves an online experience that is welcoming and easy to use.
2. How we build for accessibility
We build accessibility into the site itself rather than bolting on add-on tools. In practice, we:
- use semantic, properly ordered headings so screen readers and keyboard users can follow the structure of each page;
- give meaningful images descriptive alternative (alt) text, and hide purely decorative graphics from assistive technology so they do not add clutter;
- keep a visible keyboard focus indicator so people navigating without a mouse can always see where they are on the page;
- design the site to work across phones, tablets, and desktops;
- respect your device's "reduce motion" setting — if you have asked your device or browser to reduce animation, this site honours it; and
- review accessibility as we add and update content.
We have deliberately chosen not to use a third-party "accessibility overlay" widget (the kind that adds a floating accessibility button). These tools often interfere with the assistive technology people already use and rely on — we would rather make the underlying website work well.
3. Browser and assistive-technology compatibility
This website is designed to work with current versions of the major web browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, on both desktop and mobile devices. It is built with standard web technologies intended to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers, and with your operating system's accessibility settings. It may not work as well in older or unsupported browsers.
4. Known limitations
We have built this site to be accessible and easy to use, and we are not aware of any significant barriers. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
5. Feedback and requesting help
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website, and we are happy to help if you need information from us in a different format. If you run into an accessibility barrier, or if you would like content provided in an alternative way (for example, large print, a plain document, or read aloud over the phone), please contact us:
Email: Care@Hispir.comPhone: (587) 316-2440
Please tell us the web address (URL) of the page and describe the problem if you can. We aim to respond within 5 business days. We will do our best to provide the information you need or to arrange a reasonable accommodation.
6. Date prepared and review
This accessibility statement was prepared and last reviewed on June 9, 2026. We review it, and the site's accessibility, at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the website.
